'I'll be your mirror' explores the polarities and dualisms of personality through the biological phenomenon of twinness. They are looking glass images, with each portrait being both a distorted mirror and a socialised construct, reflecting on the conscious and unconscious locked in constant struggle to create an integrated sense of 'self'.
It is through the process of photographic portraiture that this relationship is revealed, highlighting and magnifying the surface, inviting comparison and inspection, and ultimately defining its components by difference.
